Tottenham Hotspur are in talks with Manchester City over a potential deal for winger Savinho, with the player himself reportedly eager to join the north London club. Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reported on Friday that Savinho is “attracted by Tottenham” and personal terms are not expected to be a problem should the two clubs agree on a transfer fee.
This interest is not new; Tottenham previously attempted to sign the Brazilian in the summer of 2025, but Manchester City retained him and subsequently offered him a new contract. However, according to TEAMtalk’s Graeme Bailey, City are now prepared to sell the 22-year-old this summer.
Savinho’s representatives have communicated his desire to move to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, and he is believed to be particularly enthusiastic about working under new manager Roberto De Zerbi. Romano also stated that Tottenham are set to announce the signings of Andy Robertson and Marcos Senesi imminently, indicating a busy summer window for the club.
Savinho has not been a regular starter for Manchester City, making limited appearances since joining the club. He has shown flashes of potential, but opportunities have been scarce in a squad brimming with attacking talent. A move to Tottenham could offer him a more prominent role and the chance to develop under De Zerbi’s tactical system. The arrival of Savinho would add further competition to Tottenham’s attacking options and provide another dimension to their play. The potential signing signals Tottenham's intent to quickly build a squad capable of challenging for Champions League qualification.
