Simone Guerra has signed a contract extension with Juventus Next Gen, keeping him with the club until June 30, 2027, the club confirmed. The 1989-born forward will continue as a key figure for the Under 23 side, providing both experience and goals.
Guerra arrived at Juventus Next Gen in 2023 and quickly established himself as an important player on and off the pitch. His leadership qualities and goalscoring ability will remain available to coach Brambilla’s team for the upcoming season. The extension signifies a mutual trust between the player and the Juventus organization.
The Italian forward has become a significant part of Juventus Next Gen’s history, achieving the status of the project’s all-time leading goalscorer. He has consistently found the back of the net over the past few seasons, demonstrating a remarkable level of consistency. Last season, Guerra scored ten goals, contributing significantly to the team’s performance.
Those goals helped Juventus Next Gen reach the playoffs and secure a fifth-place finish in the regular season – the highest placement in the team’s history. Juventus released a statement congratulating Guerra and expressing their happiness to continue their partnership for another year. The club highlighted his importance as both a captain and a prolific goalscorer for the Next Gen side.
This contract renewal ensures stability and a proven goal threat for Juventus Next Gen as they aim to build on their recent successes in the Serie C. Guerra’s continued presence offers valuable experience to a young squad, potentially aiding their development and pursuit of further league progression.
