The Cherries are reportedly unwilling to sell the teenage forward, valuing him at around £85million, a figure that has also deterred Barcelona from making a bid.
Spurs have identified Hoffenheim striker Fisnik Asllani as a potential alternative. The Kosovo international enjoyed a breakout season in the Bundesliga, scoring double-digit goals and attracting interest from clubs such as Barcelona and RB Leipzig. Tottenham have reportedly made enquiries regarding his availability.
Club Brugge’s Nicolo Tresoldi is another player under consideration for Roberto De Zerbi’s squad. The Germany youth international scored 19 goals in his debut season in Belgium, drawing attention from Roma, Atletico Madrid, Borussia Dortmund, and Arsenal, in addition to Tottenham. Sources indicate that Spurs have been conducting background checks on the 21-year-old.
Despite the exploration of these alternatives, Kroupi remains Tottenham’s primary target. The club has not given up on persuading Bournemouth to negotiate a deal before the transfer window closes, and are hopeful of bringing the France youth international to North London. The potential move comes amid reports concerning the future of current Spurs forward Richarlison.
