Tottenham Hotspur are preparing to submit an official offer for Manchester City winger Savinho, with the deal forming part of a triple transfer package valued at approximately £135 million, according to reports. Spurs previously attempted to sign the Brazilian international last summer, lodging bids up to £70 million, but City blocked the move following a failed pursuit of Rodrygo from Real Madrid.
Savinho signed a new contract with Manchester City following that summer interest, however, regular playing time proved difficult to come by during the 2025/26 campaign. Sources at TEAMtalk have now confirmed that City have granted Savinho permission to depart, and the player is again receptive to a move to north London. Football Insider’s Pete O’Rourke reports that Tottenham are now ready to ‘formalise’ their interest with an official bid, with talks expected to progress swiftly.
O’Rourke added that there is a “willingness from all parties” to complete the transfer, suggesting City won’t impede Savinho’s exit if a suitable offer is received. Beyond Savinho, Tottenham are also pursuing deals for Jan Paul van Hecke from Brighton & Hove Albion and Joao Palhinha, currently on loan from Bayern Munich. The club has already seen bids of £40 million and £50 million rejected for Van Hecke, with a third bid of around £55 million anticipated, and personal terms have already been agreed with the player.
Brighton are also the subject of Tottenham’s interest in Luka Vuskovic, though two previous bids for the Croatian defender have been turned down, with a third offer expected. Palhinha, who scored the goal that secured Tottenham’s Premier League safety on the final day of last season, is also set to return permanently. Spurs are reportedly attempting to renegotiate the €30 million (£26 million) option to buy with Bayern Munich, potentially reducing the overall cost of the triple deal. If Palhinha arrives for around £20 million, the combined cost of Savinho, Van Hecke, and Palhinha would total approximately £135 million. The arrival of Savinho, Van Hecke and Palhinha would significantly bolster Ange Postecoglou’s squad ahead of the new season, addressing key areas in attack and midfield.
