Tottenham Hotspur are preparing a substantial £75 million bid for Bournemouth striker Eli Junior Kroupi, according to reports. The move comes as Roberto De Zerbi seeks to bolster his attacking options following improvements to the Spurs defence and midfield. Kroupi’s agent, Moussa Sissoko, has confirmed that discussions are ongoing regarding his client’s future, but stated there is no final decision yet.
Kroupi joined Bournemouth in February 2025, immediately being loaned back to his former club for the remainder of the season. The 20-year-old enjoyed a breakthrough campaign in the Premier League last season, becoming the highest-scoring teenage debutant in the competition’s history with 13 goals in 33 appearances, helping Bournemouth qualify for the Europa League. His form has attracted interest from several top clubs, including Arsenal and Chelsea, who are both monitoring the situation.
Bournemouth are reportedly seeking between £90-100 million for the France U21 international, but Tottenham believe their initial £75 million offer will prove persuasive. The potential arrival of Kroupi would provide significant competition for Dominic Solanke in the Spurs attack. A reunion with former Bournemouth teammate Marcos Senesi, who recently joined Tottenham, could also be a factor in Kroupi’s decision.
De Zerbi is also considering alternative striking options, including Dusan Vlahovic, who is currently a free agent after leaving Juventus. Further additions to the Spurs attack are also planned, with Rafael Leao, Cody Gakpo, Savinho, and Antonio Nusa all under consideration as potential winger targets. The club has also been linked with a move for a Sporting CP attacker, indicating a proactive approach to strengthening the squad ahead of the new season.
Tottenham are confident that Kroupi is keen on a move to north London, despite their lack of European football for the upcoming season. The pursuit of Kroupi underlines Tottenham’s ambition to challenge at the top of the Premier League, and securing his signature would represent a significant coup for the club.
