Toulouse FC have announced the departure of six players at the end of their contracts, the club confirmed via a social media post on May 19, 2026. Goalkeeper Kjetil Haug, fellow shot-stopper Alex Domínguez, midfielders Warren Kamanzi and Pape Bemba Diop, as well as forwards Frank Magri and Noah Lamandi will all leave the Ligue 1 side this summer.
The departures represent a significant clear-out for Toulouse as they prepare for a rebuild under a new manager. Pape Bemba Diop returns to Strasbourg, the club from which he was previously loaned. The club expressed its gratitude to all six players for their commitment and service to the team, thanking them for everything they gave to the club.
Toulouse finished mid-table in Ligue 1 this season, a result that president Olivier Cloarec has indicated is not sufficient for the club’s ambitions. Cloarec stated in a post-season press conference that a new head coach will be appointed before the start of the transfer window, as the club aims to “overperform” in the coming season. The search for a replacement for Carles Martínez Novell is therefore underway.
Kjetil Haug joined Toulouse in 2024 and served as the club’s primary goalkeeper for two seasons, making over 60 appearances in all competitions. Alex Domínguez arrived in 2025 as competition for Haug, but featured less frequently. Warren Kamanzi, Frank Magri and Noah Lamandi all played roles in Toulouse’s attacking options, though none established themselves as consistent starters. Pape Bemba Diop’s loan spell from Strasbourg saw him make a handful of appearances, but he did not feature prominently in the team’s plans.
The mass exodus suggests Toulouse are planning a substantial overhaul of their squad ahead of the 2026-2027 campaign. The club will likely be active in the transfer market, both bringing in new players and potentially offloading others as they reshape the team under their new manager. This clear-out allows the new coach to build a squad more aligned with their tactical vision.
