Tottenham Hotspur have emerged as the most active club in the summer transfer window thus far, completing deals for Sandro Tonali, Mateus Fernandes, Jan Paul van Hecke, Andrew Robertson, Marcos Senesi, and Martin Dubravka as Roberto De Zerbi reshapes the squad following a disappointing 2025-26 season. The club continues to be linked with further additions, including Bournemouth’s Eli Junior Kroupi, signalling a significant investment in personnel.
Chelsea have also been busy, securing the services of Marco Palestra, Geovany Quenda, Emmanuel Emegha, Dastan Satpaev, and Denner, with Maxence Lacroix and Pep Chavarria reportedly close to joining them. Manchester City have broken their club transfer record to bring in Elliot Anderson from Nottingham Forest, alongside winger Mathys Detourbet from Troyes.
Manchester United have reached full agreements for Brazilian midfielders Ederson and Andrey Santos, although neither deal has been officially announced as of today. Arsenal are in advanced negotiations for Newcastle United’s Bruno Guimaraes and Aston Villa’s Morgan Rogers, while Leeds United have added Harry Wilson to their ranks on a free transfer after his contract with Fulham expired. Liverpool have seen a move for Yan Diomande fall through, with the player preferring a transfer to Paris Saint-Germain, but have secured Victor Munoz from Osasuna and Jeremy Jacquet from Stade Rennais.
Across Europe, Barcelona have spent €80 million to acquire Anthony Gordon from Newcastle United, while Real Madrid have bolstered their squad with Marc Cucurella, Bernardo Silva, Ibrahima Konate, and Denzel Dumfries. Bayern Munich have signed Nathaniel Brown from Eintracht Frankfurt, and AC Milan have added Paris Saint-Germain striker Goncalo Ramos to their attacking options. Several other moves were confirmed today, including Jota Silva’s loan move from Nottingham Forest to Olympiacos, Sean Steur’s €27 million transfer from Ajax to Newcastle, and Illan Meslier’s free transfer from Leeds to Arsenal.
Further deals completed today include Harrison Ashby joining Luton on loan from Newcastle, Callum Wilson moving to Brentford on a free transfer from West Ham, and Oscar Mingueza joining Crystal Palace from Celta Vigo, also on a free. Serie A saw Lorenzo Amatucci move to Deportivo La Coruna for €2.5m, Gaetano Oristanio join Torino on loan, and Albion Rrahmani transfer to Venezia for €7.5m.
