The 25-year-old’s current deal at the Bernabeu is set to expire in the summer of 2027, and renewal talks have reportedly stalled.
This development comes amidst a challenging season for both Vinicius and the club as a whole. The Brazilian international has been a frequent target of jeers from the Real Madrid supporters, following a disappointing 2025-26 campaign that will see Los Blancos finish a season without a major trophy for the second year running. They currently trail Barcelona by 11 points in La Liga with only four matches remaining, and were recently eliminated from the Champions League by Bayern Munich.
