Dusan Vlahovic is weighing a potential move to Besiktas as negotiations with Juventus stall over contract renewal terms, according to reports in Italy. While Juventus are pushing to finalize a deal for Randal Kolo Muani, they are taking a more measured approach with Vlahovic’s situation.
The Serbian striker is open to returning to Juventus, but a two-year contract extension, reportedly worth around €7 million per year with a signing bonus, is proving difficult to agree upon. A key sticking point is the signing bonus, which Vlahovic’s father and agent, Milos, has been asked to halve, creating a gap of €5-6 million in the negotiations.
Milos Vlahovic is actively seeking alternatives and is scheduled to travel to Istanbul to meet with Besiktas officials. The Turkish club are prepared to increase their offer, both in terms of wages and a signing bonus, in an attempt to secure the player’s services. Former Fiorentina manager Vincenzo Italiano, who previously coached Vlahovic, is also keen to reunite with the striker at a yet-to-be-determined club and is willing to wait until mid-August for a resolution.
Napoli have also emerged as potential suitors for Vlahovic, contingent on the futures of Romelu Lukaku and Lorenzo Lucca. Juventus had initial contact with Milos Vlahovic in early June, indicating a willingness to revisit a deal if Dusan did not find a preferred destination. Napoli’s sporting director, Manna, has indicated that Vlahovic would be considered if both Lukaku and Lucca depart the club to play alongside Rasmus Hojlund.
Juventus are also exploring loan options for other players, including Mateo Pellegrino of Parma and Joshua Zirkzee of Manchester United, but only if they can offload Jonathan David. The club is prioritizing a loan deal for Pellegrino, valuing him at €30 million, and a similar arrangement for Zirkzee, with minimal obligations for a permanent transfer next summer. The situation with Kolo Muani remains a priority, but Juventus are not altering their conditions for Vlahovic’s return.
