Kenan Yildiz has extended his contract with Juventus through 2030, the club confirmed following a jersey signing event at the Allianz Stadium MegaStore on Monday. The Turkish forward put pen to paper on the new deal after a successful season with the Turin side, and participated in an autograph session for fans alongside teammates Teun Koopmeiners and Carlo Pinsoglio.
The 22-year-old expressed his deep connection to the club, thanking John Elkann for his kind words. Yildiz has become an increasingly important player for Juventus, contributing 11 goals across Serie A and cup competitions this season. He currently wears the number 10 shirt for the Bianconeri.
Speaking to reporters, Yildiz also addressed the future of teammate Dusan Vlahovic, confirming he urged the Serbian striker to remain at the club, though acknowledging the final decision rests with Vlahovic himself. Several top European clubs, including Bayern Munich, Barcelona, and AC Milan, have been linked with a move for Vlahovic, according to reports. The striker’s future will likely become clearer at the end of the current season.
Juventus are currently battling for a Champions League spot in Serie A, sitting third in the table, two points behind Napoli. Manager Luciano Spalletti’s side needs six points from their remaining two matches against Fiorentina and Torino to secure qualification. Yildiz emphasized the team’s focus on achieving this goal, acknowledging the external pressure but maintaining confidence in their preparations. He also stated he was feeling better after a recent knee inflammation, though he prefers not to discuss his physical condition publicly.
The contract extension for Yildiz represents a significant boost for Juventus, securing a key player for the long term and demonstrating the club’s ambition to compete at the highest level.
