Kevin Zeroli is poised to return to AC Milan at the end of his loan spell with Juve Stabia, with his future at the club currently undecided according to reports from Milan. The 20-year-old midfielder has impressed in Serie B under former Milan Primavera coach Ignazio Abate, playing a key role in Juve Stabia’s playoff run.
Zeroli progressed through the Milan youth system, initially catching the eye of scouts during a training session in 2012. He quickly rose through the ranks, showcasing a versatile skillset capable of playing as a midfielder, attacking midfielder, or second striker. His performances in the youth setup led to a debut for the first team under Stefano Pioli in December 2023, appearing as a substitute against Sassuolo.
Despite showing promise, Zeroli’s development faced setbacks with inconsistent opportunities and injury concerns. He was subsequently loaned to Monza in January 2025, but struggled for playing time and was unable to prevent their relegation from Serie A. A subsequent loan extension at Monza also proved unfruitful, limiting him to minimal appearances. The turning point came with a January move to Juve Stabia, reuniting him with Abate.
Zeroli’s impact at Juve Stabia was immediate, scoring crucial goals, including a dramatic late winner against Padova and the decisive goal in the playoff quarter-final against Modena. However, a recurring muscle injury briefly halted his momentum, sidelining him for nearly three months. He recently returned to fitness, contributing to Juve Stabia’s progression to the playoff semi-finals where they will face Monza. His loan is set to expire at the end of the current season, and he is contractually obligated to return to Milan. The club will then evaluate his future, potentially considering another loan or integrating him into the first-team squad, particularly if Juve Stabia achieve promotion to Serie A.
