Juventus secure Yildiz contract extension until 2030 as Elkann reaffirms commitment
Juventus have extended rising star Kenan Yildiz's contract until June 2030, with Exor chairman John Elkann confirming the deal in his annual letter to shareholders of the Agnelli family's holding company. The 19-year-old playmaker's new terms come after establishing himself as a key figure in the first team, wearing the iconic number 10 shirt and becoming a technical leader under manager Luciano Spalletti.
Elkann emphasized Juventus' commitment to developing young talents, stating the extension "reaffirms our dedication to nurturing and retaining the club's most promising players." The agreement forms part of broader stabilization efforts following recent legal and regulatory challenges, with Exor injecting €100m through a capital increase in 2025 to support financial recovery.
Financial results show significant progress, with Juventus' 2025 revenues rising 34% to €530m following their Champions League return. Club losses reduced by 71% to €58m, aided by renewed sponsorship deals including a €408m extension with Adidas through 2037 and a €69m Jeep partnership until 2028. Elkann credited the men's team's improvement to Spalletti's October 2025 appointment, noting the coach has "brought new energy to the dressing room, restoring hunger and determination."
The women's team completed a domestic treble in 2025-26, securing Serie A, Coppa Italia, and Italian Super Cup honors. Elkann highlighted these successes as evidence of Juventus' multi-faceted rebuild, referencing former player Omar Sivori's famous mantra about the club's relentless spirit. While focusing on football operations, the chairman also addressed Ferrari's motorsport challenges within Exor's portfolio, drawing parallels between the brands' commitment to long-term growth.
