Manchester United are prioritizing midfield reinforcements this summer, with Aurelien Tchouameni identified as a ‘dream’ target, though a deal with Real Madrid is expected to be extremely difficult. This comes as the club have already agreed personal terms with Atalanta’s Ederson, with face-to-face talks held in Italy to prepare a potential transfer, according to Fabrizio Romano.
United are also considering other options including Sandro Tonali, Elliot Anderson, Mateus Fernandes, and Carlos Baleba, but Tchouameni represents a significant ambition for the club, seen as a potential successor to Casemiro. However, Real Madrid are currently unwilling to sell the French international, who is on a substantial salary.
Meanwhile, speculation linking Harry Kane with a move away from Bayern Munich has been dismissed by the club, with Uli Hoeness stating emphatically that the striker is not for sale. Bayern are reportedly keen to discuss a new contract with Kane, who has scored 66 goals this season for both club and country, and the release clause in his current contract has already passed.
Julian Alvarez’s future at Atletico Madrid is also uncertain, with Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain, and several Premier League clubs expressing interest. Romano reports that a new contract for Alvarez at Atletico is “very, very unlikely,” leaving the player to decide his next move. Atletico’s new ownership may make retaining him challenging given potential offers.
Goncalo Ramos could also be on the move from Paris Saint-Germain, with the Portuguese forward seeking a more prominent role. Premier League, Serie A, and Spanish clubs are potential destinations, and PSG may consider adding another offensive player, potentially facilitating Ramos’s departure. Finally, Barcelona have expressed interest in Chelsea’s Joao Pedro, but Chelsea currently have no intention of selling the forward as they rebuild under a new manager.
