Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United have all stepped up their interest in Club Brugge forward Christos Tzolis, according to TEAMtalk. The Premier League clubs are monitoring the 24-year-old Greek international, who has become a prolific attacking talent in Belgium.
Tzolis has significantly improved since leaving Norwich City permanently, enjoying a successful spell with Fortuna Düsseldorf in Germany where he recorded 24 goals and 10 assists in Bundesliga 2. He has continued that form with Club Brugge, amassing a combined total of 41 goals and 43 assists across two seasons.
Representatives from Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United were reportedly in attendance on Sunday to watch Tzolis score one goal and provide three assists in Brugge’s 5-0 victory over Union SG. Sources close to Club Brugge suggest the club are anticipating his departure this summer, but will seek a substantial fee.
Club Brugge are expected to demand a transfer fee exceeding the current Belgian record of €37.5 million, paid by AC Milan for Charles De Ketelaere in 2022. Interest extends beyond England, with clubs in Germany, Italy and Spain also monitoring the situation, but the financial strength of the Premier League is considered a significant factor.
Arsenal are believed to value Tzolis’ versatility and attacking output, while Chelsea view him as a potential long-term addition to their squad. Manchester United are also exploring attacking reinforcements and are impressed by Tzolis’ creativity and goal-scoring record. The player himself is reportedly keen on a return to England, feeling he has developed significantly during his time in Germany and Belgium.
Tzolis is understood to believe his experiences abroad have improved him tactically and mentally, and he is eager to prove himself in the Premier League after a previous unsuccessful stint with Norwich. He is seen as a player capable of making an immediate impact for any of the interested clubs.
