Arsenal have identified Bournemouth forward Eli Junior Kroupi as a key transfer target ahead of the summer window, according to reports. The Gunners, fresh off securing their first Premier League title since 2004, are aiming to strengthen their squad despite their recent success.
Mikel Arteta’s side are preparing for a busy summer of transfer activity, with a squad overhaul anticipated ahead of the 2026-27 season. Several players, including Ben White, Ethan Nwaneri, Gabriel Jesus, and Gabriel Martinelli, have been linked with potential departures. Arsenal are actively pursuing targets in multiple positions, including full-back, central midfield, and attack, with Valentino Livramento, Sandro Tonali, and Anthony Gordon among those previously linked.
Kroupi has emerged as a significant addition to Arsenal’s wish-list, as reported by The Guardian. The 19-year-old has impressed during his debut season in the Premier League, scoring 13 goals in 32 appearances – a record for a teenager in their first season in the competition. This form has attracted interest from several top European clubs, including Chelsea, Manchester City, and Real Madrid.
Arsenal view Kroupi as a versatile attacking option, capable of playing on the left flank and competing for a central forward role alongside Kai Havertz and Viktor Gyokeres. Bournemouth are reportedly seeking a fee of around €92 million (£80m) for the player, which would represent a club-record sale, surpassing the €72m received for Antoine Semenyo from Manchester City earlier this year. Arteta has reportedly made signing a new forward a priority, with Atletico Madrid’s Julian Alvarez also under consideration. The potential acquisition of Kroupi would provide Arsenal with a dynamic attacking threat and further solidify their position as a dominant force in English football.
