Arsenal are monitoring several potential signings as they prepare for a busy summer transfer window, with Valencia midfielder Javi Guerra and Eintracht Frankfurt left-back Nathaniel Brown among those attracting interest, according to recent reports.
The Gunners are reportedly considering Guerra as a potential upgrade on Christian Norgaard, with Tuttomercatoweb reporting the Spanish midfielder could cost around €40 million. Norgaard’s future at the Emirates is uncertain due to a lack of consistent playing time, potentially opening the door for Guerra, who has been a long-term target for several European clubs, including Atletico Madrid, though a previous deal with the Spanish side fell through.
Alongside Guerra, Arsenal remain in the race for Nathaniel Brown, with BILD reporting that the Germany international is “likely” to be on the move this summer. Frankfurt are seeking a substantial fee of around €60 million for the attack-minded defender, who is expected to feature at the upcoming World Cup. Both Arsenal and Manchester United have been linked with Brown since the winter transfer window, and the Gunners may seek a new left-back following Myles Lewis-Skelly’s transition to a midfield role.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano anticipates significant activity in the winger market this summer, with Arsenal identified as one of several elite clubs looking to strengthen in wide areas. The recent €80 million transfer of Anthony Gordon to Barcelona is expected to trigger a “domino” effect, prompting further high-profile deals for wingers. While Yan Diomande has been linked with a move to the Emirates, Romano suggests Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain are currently leading the chase for the Ivorian.
Arsenal have also reportedly made an enquiry for Porto winger William Gomes, as reported by AS. Gomes enjoyed a breakout season in Portugal, helping Porto secure their 31st league title, and has drawn comparisons to Luis Diaz. However, Porto are currently reluctant to sell the Brazilian winger and are determined to retain his services for at least another season, though a significant offer could potentially change their stance.
