Juventus defender Gleison Bremer is attracting interest from several European clubs, potentially as the Turin side seeks to improve their financial sustainability, according to reports in Italy. Bremer, who recently featured for Brazil in a friendly against Panama in place of Danilo, is seen as one of Juventus’s most valuable assets.
While Bremer recently renewed his contract with Juventus, a release clause of €58 million remains in place. Finding a club willing to meet that figure outright may prove difficult, leading to speculation about potential player exchanges or discounted offers. Bayern Munich has been mentioned as a possible destination, with the German club potentially offering Kim Min-jae, currently underutilized by Thomas Tuchel, in a swap deal. However, a significant difference in wages – Bremer earns approximately €5 million net per year, while Min-jae earns around €8 million – could complicate any such arrangement.
A move to the Premier League is considered the most likely outcome, with English clubs potentially willing to meet the release clause without negotiation. Bremer himself has reportedly expressed dissatisfaction with Juventus’s current level of competitiveness, making a transfer to a club with greater Champions League aspirations appealing. The 29-year-old has been recovering from a serious knee injury, but is regaining full fitness.
Meanwhile, Andrea Cambiaso, another Juventus player, is also subject to transfer speculation. Interest from Manchester City has cooled, and a move to Barcelona is uncertain. Como, recently qualified for the Champions League, has emerged as a potential destination, seeking to bolster their squad with Italian players to meet UEFA squad requirements. Juventus values Cambiaso at €50 million and are not actively seeking to sell him, but could be persuaded if their valuation is met. Cambiaso is contracted to Juventus until 2029.
