Chelsea are reportedly considering a summer move for West Ham United captain Jarrod Bowen as new manager Xabi Alonso seeks to strengthen the team’s attacking options for the 2026-27 campaign. According to The Independent, Chelsea are “weighing up” an approach for Bowen, with Liverpool and Manchester United also monitoring the situation. West Ham currently value the England forward at approximately €58 million (£50m), however, Chelsea and other interested clubs believe a fee of around €46m (£40m) is more realistic, particularly given West Ham’s recent relegation to the Championship.
Alongside Bowen, Chelsea are also tracking Aston Villa’s Morgan Rogers, who is “expected” to leave Villa Park this summer due to the club’s need to comply with financial regulations. Transfer expert Ben Jacobs told GiveMeSport that Rogers’ departure isn’t due to a desire to leave, but rather Villa’s financial situation despite qualifying for Champions League football. Arsenal, Manchester United, and Paris Saint-Germain are also reportedly interested in Rogers, with Chelsea seeking a creative attacker.
Chelsea’s pursuit of young talent extends to Bournemouth’s Eli Junior Kroupi, though they now face competition from Bayern Munich. Kroupi, a France Under-21 international, enjoyed a breakthrough season with Bournemouth, scoring 13 goals and helping the club qualify for the Europa League. German publication Absolut Bayern reports that Bayern, having missed out on Anthony Gordon to Barcelona, are now interested in Kroupi.
Further forward, AC Milan winger Rafael Leao has publicly expressed his desire for a new challenge, with Chelsea among the clubs linked with a potential move. Leao told Sport TV that he is proud of his time at Milan but is seeking a new opportunity in a different league. Meanwhile, Chelsea have set a high asking price of €138m (£120m) for midfielder Enzo Fernandez, but according to Football Insider reporter Stefan Borson, no club is likely to meet that valuation.
Real Madrid are currently considered the frontrunners to sign Fernandez, though Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester City have also been mentioned as potential suitors. These developments indicate a busy summer transfer window for Chelsea as Alonso begins to shape the squad to his vision.
