Inter defender Fabian Bisseck is attracting interest from Bayern Munich, with the Bundesliga champions reportedly monitoring his situation closely. Representatives from Bayern, including Giovanni Branchini who recently finalized an agreement with Bisseck’s agent Yusuf Kandemir, were present at Inter’s headquarters, though the club has characterized the visit as a courtesy call.
Inter currently value Bisseck at €40 million, and while Bayern have not yet submitted a formal offer, they are actively tracking the 24-year-old’s progress. Bisseck joined Inter from FC Copenhagen in August 2023 and has become a regular feature in Simone Inzaghi’s squad, making 26 appearances across all competitions this season. He has impressed with his versatility and defensive solidity, contributing to Inter’s strong Serie A campaign.
Should Bisseck depart, Inter intend to reinvest a portion of the transfer fee into strengthening their defensive options, potentially adding another player alongside current squad member Giorgio Scalvini. The Nerazzurri are also anticipating potential departures to further bolster their summer transfer budget, with midfielders Kristjan Asllani and Benjamin Pavard identified as possible sales, as well as winger Luis Henrique.
In separate news, Inter have confirmed the permanent transfer of Ebenezer Akinsanmiro to Pisa. The Serie B club will pay the agreed-upon fee of €6 million for the Nigerian midfielder, who spent the first half of the season on loan with the Tuscan side. Inter have indicated they will not exercise a buy-back clause, which would have cost them €7.5 million. Pisa are also reportedly pursuing Inter’s Alessandro Cocchi as part of a potential deal involving Atalanta’s Nadir Palestra.
Bisseck’s potential move to Bayern would provide Inter with significant funds to reshape their squad during the summer transfer window, while offering the German defender a chance to compete at a higher level. The transfer could also open up opportunities for other Inter defenders to gain more playing time.
