Celtic are in advanced negotiations to sign Real Oviedo winger Haissem Hassan, with personal terms already agreed, sources have confirmed. The 24-year-old Egypt international is poised to move to Parkhead, though Trabzonspor and Marseille remain interested.
The France-born attacker impressed during Egypt’s run to the last 16 of the 2026 World Cup and has reportedly given the green light to the transfer. Like fellow incoming striker Kasper Høgh, Hassan is expected to sign a four-year contract with the Scottish champions.
The proposed transfer fee is expected to reach up to £8 million, inclusive of add-ons. Real Oviedo, recently relegated to the Segunda División, have been receptive to Celtic’s offer, particularly as Hassan is entering the final year of his current contract.
