Paris FC have completed the signing of forward Pablo Pagis from Lorient, the club confirmed on Friday. The French attacker has signed a contract with the Parisian side that will run until 2031.
The transfer fee is reported to be around €15 million, with an additional €1.5 million in potential bonuses dependent on European qualification. Pagis joins Patrick Zabi and Diego Coppola as the third signing for Paris FC during the current transfer window.
Pagis enjoyed a productive season with Lorient, scoring 10 goals and providing 5 assists in 28 Ligue 1 appearances. His arrival represents a significant investment for Paris FC as they aim to build upon their 11th-place finish in the league last season, a campaign which concluded with a notable victory over Paris Saint-Germain.
The appointment of Liam Rosenior as manager has also signaled an ambitious direction for the club. Rosenior is reportedly keen to retain Ilan Kebbal within the squad and is actively pursuing further reinforcements to strengthen the team’s competitiveness. The club is aiming to challenge for European qualification in the coming seasons, and Pagis’s goalscoring ability will be central to those ambitions.
This move provides Pagis with a platform to further develop his career and showcase his talent at a club with growing aspirations. For Lorient, the sale represents a significant profit on a player who has proven his worth in Ligue 1, allowing them to reinvest in their own squad.
