Paris Saint-Germain are considering a move for FC Barcelona forward Ferran Torres, according to Sky Sports Italia, as they prepare for potential departures in their attacking line. The French champions are currently focused on securing replacements for Gonçalo Ramos, who has joined AC Milan, and Lee Kang-in, expected to move to Atlético Madrid.
Torres, 26, is reportedly highly regarded by both PSG manager Luis Enrique and the club’s sporting director. The Spain international is currently participating in international duty with La Roja. His current contract with Barcelona runs until 2027, and any potential move to Paris appears contingent on an exit from the PSG squad.
Bradley Barcola is the player most likely to make way, with contract renewal talks currently stalled. Negotiations with the 21-year-old have been paused while he is with the French national team at the Coupe du Monde in the United States. Barcola’s current deal expires in two years, leading to uncertainty about his long-term future at the club. PSG have reportedly valued the former Lyon player at €150 million.
Several Premier League and Bundesliga clubs have expressed interest in Barcola, including Liverpool, Arsenal, and Bayern Munich. The potential sale of Barcola would free up funds and a squad space for Torres, who offers a different profile as a more central striker compared to Barcola’s wide role. Torres enjoyed a productive season with Barcelona, scoring 16 goals in 33 La Liga appearances.
The potential arrival of Torres would add further depth to PSG’s attacking options, as they navigate a busy schedule across multiple competitions. Should Barcola depart, PSG will have secured a replacement with proven goalscoring ability at the top level.
