Everton have renewed their pursuit of Jens Petter Hauge, the forward currently playing for Norwegian side Bodø/Glimt, according to TEAMtalk. The Toffees face competition from several other Premier League clubs for the 26-year-old Norwegian international.
Hauge impressed in the UEFA Champions League last season, scoring important goals against top European opposition and contributing to Bodø/Glimt’s surprising success. He returned to his boyhood club in early 2025, signing a contract that runs until the end of 2028, establishing him as a key player for the Norwegian outfit.
Everton were previously linked with Hauge and continue to view him as a potential addition to their squad, seeking to strengthen their wide attacking options. Sources suggest a transfer fee of around £30million would likely be required to secure his services, a figure considered reasonable in the current market.
Sunderland have also expressed interest in the winger, with the Black Cats reportedly monitoring Hauge closely and contacting his representatives. They see him as a player who could quickly adapt to the English game due to his European experience and senior-level pedigree. Leeds United and Hull City are also reported to be assessing Hauge as a potential target, seeking to add pace and attacking threat to their flanks.
However, at this stage, the interest from Leeds and Hull has not progressed beyond initial assessments. Bodø/Glimt are expected to hold out for a substantial fee, given Hauge’s importance to the team and the length of his current contract. Serie A clubs are also monitoring the situation, adding another layer of competition for his signature.
With the transfer window still open, Hauge’s future remains uncertain, but the significant Premier League interest suggests a move away from Bodø/Glimt is a distinct possibility before the deadline.
