Ansu Fati has completed his permanent move from Barcelona to Monaco, the club confirmed on Friday. The transfer provides Barcelona with a financial boost, including a sell-on clause, while Fati continues his career in Ligue 1 after a loan spell with the principality club where he scored 11 goals last season. He has already spoken with Monaco’s incoming manager, Filipe Luis, ahead of the announcement.
Meanwhile, Mason Greenwood has agreed terms with Fenerbahce on a four-year contract, according to Fabrizio Romano. The deal is contingent on Hakan Safi being elected as the new Fenerbahce president and reaching an agreement with Marseille, who are seeking between €50m and €55m for the player. Roma also remain interested in Greenwood, with manager Gian Piero Gasperini reportedly a keen admirer, but Fenerbahce are pushing strongly for his signature.
Manchester United are closely monitoring the potential transfer due to a significant sell-on clause included in Greenwood’s deal with Marseille, which could result in a substantial financial windfall for the English club. The clause is reportedly a higher percentage than the standard five to ten percent.
Liverpool have emphatically stated they have no intention of selling Rio Ngumoha, despite reported interest from Bayern Munich. The club views the young winger as a key part of their future, having signed him from Chelsea and recently awarded him his first professional contract. Liverpool management believe Ngumoha represents a success story of their scouting and development program.
Discussions surrounding Cody Gakpo’s future at Liverpool are also ongoing, with the club potentially open to considering offers. The situation will be decided in conjunction with new manager Andoni Iraola. Liverpool are also actively pursuing other wingers, including Yan Diomande.
Real Madrid are preparing a bid of €150m for Bayern Munich’s Michael Olise, though Bayern have been firm in their stance that the player is not for sale, even for a fee exceeding €200m. President Florentino Perez is reportedly a strong admirer of Olise and believes he could bring “magic” back to the Bernabeu.
Finally, Tottenham are continuing their pursuit of Savinho from Manchester City, with the player reportedly keen on the move. While Savinho signed a new contract with City in September, he was previously interested in joining Tottenham a year ago and remains attracted to the club. Negotiations between the two clubs are now underway.
