Inter Milan are poised to generate significant funds through the sale of several players deemed surplus to requirements, potentially exceeding €40 million. According to reports from Italy, Davide Frattesi, Benjamin Pavard, and Kristjan Asllani are among those who could depart this summer, with Luis Henrique also a possible departure.
Midfielder Davide Frattesi, who joined Inter from Sassuolo, is attracting interest from both Roma and Nottingham Forest. While Roma represents a return to a familiar environment for the Italian international, Forest previously came close to securing his signature last summer. Inter are reportedly seeking between €20-25 million for Frattesi, aiming to secure a substantial profit considering his current book value of approximately €13 million.
Benjamin Pavard’s future at Inter also appears uncertain. Following a disappointing loan spell, the French defender is not expected to feature in the club’s plans. His high salary of €5 million net per season is a contributing factor, leading Inter to explore options, including a potential move to Saudi Arabia. The club anticipates a transfer fee of around €10-12 million for Pavard, as Marseille have opted not to exercise their €15 million buyout clause.
Kristjan Asllani, another player returning from a loan spell – this time with Besiktas – is also considered surplus to requirements. Despite some initial promise during a loan to Torino, his form dipped in Turkey. Inter are open to another loan deal with an option to buy for the Albanian midfielder. Finally, Luis Henrique, who filled in during Dumfries' absence, has also attracted interest, particularly from Bournemouth, potentially pushing the total revenue from these sales above €50 million.
The anticipated funds will be crucial for Inter as they navigate the transfer market, especially considering Atalanta’s valuation of their target, Palestra, is around the same amount.
