Juventus are continuing to explore attacking options as they pursue a potential deal for Randal Kolo Muani, with PSV Eindhoven’s Ricardo Pepi emerging as a possible alternative, according to reports in Italy. The club’s scouting network is actively assessing players at the ongoing international tournament.
The pursuit of Kolo Muani remains active despite a change in leadership within the Juventus hierarchy, with Giovanni Carnevali now overseeing transfers. Alexander Sorloth is another forward linked with a move to Turin, but reaching an agreement with Atletico Madrid is proving difficult.
Pepi, a 20-year-old American international, started in the United States’ recent match against Australia, filling in for the injured Christian Pulisic. He has been highly recommended to the Juventus staff by fellow US international Weston McKennie. Currently playing for PSV, Pepi enjoyed a successful season in the Eredivisie, scoring 16 goals and adding 3 in the Champions League.
Juventus previously showed interest in Pepi during the tenure of Cristiano Giuntoli, and the club views him as a player with the potential to develop further. PSV are reportedly open to a sale for a fee in the region of €25-30 million. The Bianconeri are also monitoring Omar Marmoush, currently at Eintracht Frankfurt, as a potential loan option in August. Marmoush, an Egyptian international, has impressed Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri with his performances in the Bundesliga. Manchester City signed Marmoush for a substantial fee in 2023, but he has struggled to establish himself in the Premier League, and a loan move could be considered to provide him with more playing time. Juventus are prioritizing cost-effective solutions as they rebuild their squad, and Pepi and Marmoush represent potentially intelligent additions to their attacking options.
