Juventus are in talks to re-sign Randal Kolo Muani from Paris Saint-Germain, according to reports in Italy. Negotiations between the clubs, facilitated by intermediaries, took place on Thursday, focusing on the transfer fee and the player’s demands.
PSG are reportedly seeking €40 million for Kolo Muani, a figure which initially presents a challenge for Juventus, who are also aiming to reduce overall squad costs. However, sources indicate that PSG are open to structuring a deal that includes bonuses, potentially making a transfer more feasible. The Juventus hierarchy is keen to meet the wishes of new manager Luciano Spalletti, who has identified Kolo Muani as a priority target to strengthen the attack.
Kolo Muani previously played for Juventus during the 2023-2024 season, scoring 10 goals in 6 months, including a goal in the Club World Cup. He quickly became popular with his teammates, who valued his work rate and reliability. The player himself is reportedly eager to return to Turin after receiving news of changes within the club’s management.
Juventus have already agreed personal terms with Kolo Muani, offering a contract worth €5 million per year. The club is determined to avoid a repeat of last summer’s transfer saga, where a prolonged pursuit ultimately led to the player joining Tottenham Hotspur on loan. Juventus hope to finalize a deal with PSG quickly, ensuring a smoother and more decisive outcome this time around. A potential renewal for current striker Dusan Vlahovic remains a separate consideration, but is currently stalled.
