Juventus have confirmed the permanent signing of Jeremie Boga from Nice for a fee of €4.8 million, the club announced on Friday. The Ivorian winger has signed a contract with the Turin side that will run until 2029.
Boga initially joined Juventus on loan in January as cover for Kenan Yildiz, but quickly established himself as a valuable member of the squad. He rediscovered consistent playing time and form in Italy after a challenging spell with Nice in Ligue 1. According to reports at the time of his arrival, the move was initially viewed as a short-term solution to a squad issue.
The 26-year-old made 14 Serie A appearances for Juventus during the latter half of the 2023-24 season, contributing with two goals and three assists. He demonstrated his dribbling ability and direct running style, becoming a useful option for coach Massimiliano Allegri. Boga previously played in the Premier League with Chelsea and Stoke City, although his opportunities were limited.
Boga expressed his delight at securing his future with Juventus via a post on his Instagram account. He stated he was “proud to continue his journey with this great club” and thanked the fans for their support. He pledged to continue fighting to elevate the club’s success.
The permanent transfer provides Juventus with a settled option on the right wing and adds depth to their attacking options. Boga’s commitment to a long-term contract signals the club’s belief in his potential and his willingness to contribute to their future ambitions. This move solidifies Juventus’s attacking line-up as they prepare for the upcoming season.
