Juventus are in talks with Real Madrid regarding a potential loan move for young forward Franco Mastantuono, according to reports from TuttoSport. The discussions are part of a broader dialogue between the two clubs, which also includes negotiations for Brahim Diaz and other players.
Real Madrid are reportedly keen for Mastantuono to gain regular playing time, believing he has significant potential but may not feature prominently in the first team next season. The club is therefore exploring loan options, with Juventus identified as a potential destination. Juventus, meanwhile, are looking to rebuild their attacking options following the departures of Dusan Vlahovic, Arkadiusz Milik, and the likely exits of David and Openda.
Mastantuono is an Argentinian attacker who Real Madrid believe in strongly, and a permanent sale is currently off the table. The loan would allow him to develop in a European league, and Juventus are considering the technical compatibility of the player with coach Luciano Spalletti’s system. However, Real Madrid are also offering Mastantuono to other Serie A clubs, including those not competing in European competitions, in search of a team where he is guaranteed more playing time.
Juventus have indicated a willingness to accept a simple loan deal for Brahim Diaz, without an option to buy, and a similar arrangement is being discussed for Mastantuono. Separate talks are ongoing regarding Gonzalo Garcia, with a potential deal structured similarly to the one that saw Nico Paz join Como – a permanent transfer with a buyback clause for Real Madrid. The situation with Diaz is also contingent on the advice of coach Jose Mourinho, who may suggest a move if Nico Paz returns to the club. The outcome of the Morocco’s participation in the World Cup may also influence the decision regarding Diaz, as he is expected to discuss his future with Mourinho upon his return to Valdebebas.
