Juventus are continuing their efforts to sign forward Randal Kolo Muani, though negotiations with Paris Saint-Germain are proving difficult according to reports from Italy. The Bianconeri have reportedly reached an agreement with the player over a five-year contract worth €5 million per year, making him their primary target to bolster their attacking options.
Juventus are attempting to structure a deal that appeals to PSG, who are seemingly in no rush to sell. Initial offers have reached €33 million, with Juventus proposing a base fee of €35 million or a deal potentially rising to €37 million with performance-based bonuses. However, PSG, buoyed by the recent sale of Gonçalo Ramos, are holding firm and are reportedly seeking a higher fee.
The situation has led Juventus to explore alternative options, including revisiting the possibility of retaining Dusan Vlahovic and considering other targets like Alexander Sorloth of Atletico Madrid and Mateo Pellegrino of Parma. The club is reportedly prepared to pay up to €40 million for Kolo Muani, but PSG’s demands currently exceed that valuation.
Kolo Muani himself is reportedly open to the move, but his desire alone is unlikely to force a deal. Similar circumstances last year saw the player consider other offers, and he is now again attracting interest from clubs in the Premier League, including a potential return to Tottenham Hotspur managed by Ange Postecoglou, and from his former club Eintracht Frankfurt in Germany. PSG are reportedly open to a loan with an obligation to buy, but are awaiting a more substantial offer from Juventus to reflect the player’s value. The situation remains fluid, with an ultimatum potentially looming as both clubs seek a resolution.
