Juventus have agreed to loan midfielders Giacomo Faticanti and defender Brando Moruzzi to Serie B side Avellino for the upcoming season, the club confirmed. Both players, born in 2004, will seek regular playing time and further development with the Biancoverde.
Faticanti joins Avellino following a productive spell with Juventus Next Gen, where he established himself as a key player over the past two seasons. The midfielder made 66 appearances for the team, scoring three goals and providing five assists, demonstrating his consistency and impact. He was recently rewarded with a call-up to the Italian national team, making his debut in June’s friendly matches.
Juventus previously exercised their option to buy Faticanti from Lecce, securing his services with a contract that runs until June 30, 2029. This loan move is intended to provide him with valuable competitive experience in a challenging league environment. Faticanti’s versatility and passing range will be assets for Avellino as they aim for a strong campaign.
Moruzzi also arrives at Avellino with recent experience in Serie B, having spent last season with Empoli. He featured in a total of 30 matches for Empoli across Serie B and the Coppa Italia. The loan represents a significant opportunity for the young full-back to increase his playing time and build upon the qualities he has already displayed in professional football.
Both loans reflect Juventus’s commitment to developing young talent and providing opportunities for players to progress their careers. The move to Avellino will allow Faticanti and Moruzzi to gain valuable experience in a competitive environment, potentially accelerating their growth and future contributions to Juventus.
