Juventus have submitted a bid of €35 million plus bonuses, totaling €37 million, for Paris Saint-Germain forward Randal Kolo Muani, according to reports from Italy. The offer follows an initial bid of €33 million which was rejected by the French club. Juventus had anticipated negotiations with PSG would be more straightforward following previous disagreements during last summer’s transfer window.
However, the situation has proven more complex, with PSG reportedly unimpressed with the offer, particularly given Kolo Muani’s recent form. The French international scored just five goals in 44 appearances for Tottenham during the previous season. Juventus are operating under financial constraints due to a Settlement Agreement, limiting their spending capacity.
As a result of the difficulties in securing Kolo Muani, Juventus are reportedly open to re-engaging in talks with Dusan Vlahovic. The club would offer the Serbian striker a two-year contract worth €6.5 million per year, plus bonuses, and have made it clear that this is their final offer. Borussia Dortmund and Crystal Palace have also expressed interest in Kolo Muani, potentially driving up his price.
In addition to pursuing a new main striker, Juventus are also targeting a second forward. They are making significant progress in discussions with Parma regarding Argentinian forward Valentin Pellegrino. The proposed deal would be an initial loan with an obligation to buy for €30 million, contingent on certain conditions. Pellegrino’s representatives reportedly initiated contact with Juventus several weeks ago and are expected in Italy within the next ten days to discuss the potential transfer. The acquisition of Pellegrino could represent the second signing under the new leadership of Carnevali.
