Juventus have submitted a formal offer of €33 million for Paris Saint-Germain forward Randal Kolo Muani, according to reports from Italy. The offer was initially rejected, with PSG holding out for a fee of at least €40 million, but there is a growing sense that both clubs are committed to reaching an agreement quickly.
The pursuit represents a reset in relations between Juventus and PSG following a breakdown in negotiations last August, which ultimately led to Kolo Muani joining another club. Juventus officials, led by Giovanni Carnevali, are now engaging in direct talks with PSG’s Luis Campos, bypassing intermediaries in an effort to expedite the process. A deal is anticipated to fall between €36 and €37 million.
PSG are reportedly open to a loan deal with an obligation to buy, contingent on Juventus qualifying for the Champions League next season. Kolo Muani himself is keen on the move, having already agreed personal terms with Juventus – a five-year contract worth €5 million per year – and has indicated he will not consider alternative offers.
Kolo Muani’s recent form with Tottenham Hotspur was underwhelming, scoring just five goals in 41 appearances across all competitions. This difficult season, combined with Luis Enrique’s apparent lack of interest in retaining the player, has strengthened PSG’s willingness to negotiate a sale. Juventus manager Massimiliano Spalletti, however, is believed to have been reassured regarding Kolo Muani’s potential contribution. The club has paused other transfer dealings to focus on securing the forward, recognizing the need for reinforcement after considering potential departures of Lois Openda and Arkadiusz Milik. A successful transfer would significantly bolster Juventus’ attacking options ahead of the upcoming season.
