Juventus are actively working to find solutions for midfielders Arthur and forward Openda, according to reports from TuttoSport. Both players are considered surplus to requirements at the club, with the Serie A side exploring various options for their departures.
Arthur, whose current contract with Juventus expires at the end of the season, has been the subject of discussions with Corinthians. Juventus are reportedly seeking a fee of around €10 million for the Brazilian, but Corinthians are currently unwilling to meet that valuation. Negotiations have also touched upon the possibility of a contract termination, however, Juventus have not yet agreed to Arthur’s terms for such an arrangement. The player himself is open to a move to Europe should a suitable offer emerge.
Agent Pastorello met with Juventus officials at the Continassa training ground on Wednesday evening to discuss Arthur’s future, indicating the urgency of finding a resolution. Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri is monitoring the situation closely as he assesses his squad options.
Regarding Openda, a potential move to Lens has not materialized despite previous reports. While the French club has expressed interest, an agreement with Juventus has yet to be reached. Juventus are now leaning towards a loan deal, potentially including an obligation to buy, for the Belgian international. Interest has also been reported from Monaco, who Juventus might consider as a potential trade partner for striker Folarin Balogun.
The Coventry City, managed by Frank Lampard, have also emerged as potential suitors for Openda, with the player reportedly attracted to the prospect of playing in the Premier League. Juventus are prepared to be patient in finding the right offer for Openda, anticipating that opportunities may arise as other clubs seek short-term loan solutions. The coming days will be crucial for both players as Juventus aim to trim their squad ahead of the new season.
