Juventus are reportedly interested in signing both Andy Robertson and Alisson from Liverpool this summer, according to reports in The Times. The potential double swoop would see two key members of Liverpool’s ‘Mount Rushmore’ of modern-day icons depart Anfield.
Mohamed Salah and Robertson are expected to leave Liverpool following the conclusion of their contracts, while Alisson has emerged as a target for the Italian club. Interest in Alisson is growing, with the goalkeeper said to be receptive to a move to Turin.
Robertson also has strong interest from Tottenham Hotspur, with an agreement reportedly in place since January, as per Fabrizio Romano. Tottenham’s pursuit has continued under new manager Roberto De Zerbi, who has reportedly indicated his desire to sign the experienced left-back. The north London club value Robertson’s experience and believe he would immediately strengthen their squad.
A move to Juventus could potentially extend Robertson’s top-level career, as the slower pace of Serie A might suit his playing style as he enters the later stages of his career. The potential for Robertson and Alisson to link up at Juventus presents an intriguing prospect for the Italian club.
Alisson joined Liverpool from Roma in 2018 and has since established himself as one of the Premier League’s top goalkeepers, winning the Premier League and Champions League with the club. Robertson arrived at Anfield in 2017 and has become a vital part of Liverpool’s success, known for his tireless energy and attacking contributions. Should both players depart, Liverpool manager Arne Slot will face a significant rebuilding task ahead of the new season.
