Juventus have completed the signing of promising young forward Daniel Okolo from Triestina, the club confirmed. The 2007-born striker will join Juventus’ Next Gen squad, bolstering their attacking options at the youth level. The move represents a strategic investment in young talent by the Turin club.
Okolo began his youth career with Cesena before moving to Triestina, where he continued his development and recently made his professional debut in Serie C. Last season, the forward made 10 appearances for Triestina in the third tier, scoring one goal and providing two assists. His performances attracted the attention of several clubs, but Juventus, led by Next Gen manager Claudio Chiellini, moved decisively to secure his signature.
Standing at 196 centimeters, Okolo is a physically imposing presence, capable of winning duels and excelling in aerial situations. He is described as an effective target man, able to hold up the ball and bring teammates into play. Beyond his physical attributes, Okolo also possesses technical ability and demonstrates a willingness to link up with midfielders, offering a well-rounded skillset for a player of his age. Juventus aim to nurture his potential into a complete forward.
Following the completion of the transfer, Okolo expressed his gratitude on social media, stating he was “incredibly grateful to join the biggest club in Italy.” He added, “New home, same desire. All glory to God.” Okolo will continue to play in Serie C, but now representing Juventus Next Gen under the guidance of coach Brambilla. This move provides an opportunity for him to develop within a prestigious club structure and gain further experience at a professional level. The signing underscores Juventus’ commitment to developing young players for the future.
