Eintracht Frankfurt have agreed to a season-long loan deal with FC Hansa Rostock for young right-back Ouassim Karada, the clubs confirmed on Friday. The 20-year-old will spend the upcoming season in the German 3. Liga, gaining valuable experience as he develops. Karada only recently joined Frankfurt from Kickers Offenbach, with the transfer reported to be worth around €300,000.
Frankfurt signed Karada after an impressive season with Offenbach, where he established himself as a key player. He made 35 appearances across all competitions for the club, directly contributing to nine goals with one strike and eight assists. His performances attracted the attention of several Bundesliga clubs, but Frankfurt ultimately secured his signature.
The move to Hansa Rostock represents a strategic decision for both clubs. Frankfurt view Karada as a promising talent for the future, but believe regular first-team football in a competitive environment will accelerate his development. Hansa Rostock, currently competing in the 3. Liga, will benefit from adding a dynamic and creative full-back to their squad.
According to sources at Eintracht Frankfurt, the loan agreement does not include an option for Hansa Rostock to make the transfer permanent. This indicates the Bundesliga club retain strong plans for Karada’s future within their own squad. The player’s versatility and attacking contributions are seen as valuable assets.
Karada is a right-footed player who primarily operates as a full-back, but is also capable of playing in more advanced positions. He is known for his energetic runs, accurate crossing, and willingness to take on opponents. This loan spell provides a platform for him to refine these skills and adapt to the demands of professional football. The move will allow Karada to demonstrate his capabilities and potentially push for a place in Frankfurt’s first team upon his return.
