Fiorentina have submitted an official offer of €11 million for Burnley winger Luca Koleosho, according to reports from La Gazzetta dello Sport. The Serie A club are awaiting a response from Burnley, but sources indicate a positive outlook and potential for a swift agreement.
Koleosho, 22, joined Burnley from Espanyol last summer and made 18 Premier League appearances for the club, contributing with one assist. Despite Burnley’s relegation, the American-born winger displayed flashes of promise, primarily utilising his pace and dribbling ability. He has also represented the United States at youth levels.
Fiorentina are reportedly viewing Koleosho as a versatile addition to their squad, capable of providing cover and competition on both flanks. The club intends to integrate him as a support option for Moise Kean, bolstering their attacking options ahead of the new season. Vincenzo Italiano’s side finished eighth in Serie A last season and will be looking to improve upon that performance.
Elsewhere in Italy, Lazio are exploring defensive reinforcements following potential departures of Romagnoli and Gila. The club are reportedly pursuing Sergi Dominguez and Diego Coppola, with the latter potentially arriving on loan with an option to buy from Brighton. Bologna are also facing difficulties in renewing the contract of Riccardo Orsolini, with the player seeking €2 million plus bonuses per season. Ale Gomes has completed a move from Real Zaragoza to Venezia for a fee of €1.5 million plus potential add-ons, while Fiorentina are also monitoring Trabzonspor’s Inao Oulaï, who is valued between €23 and €25 million. Milan have appointed Sergio Navarro Barquero as the new head coach of Milan Futuro, their youth development team.
The early days of the transfer window are proving active for Italian clubs as sporting directors work to strengthen their squads before pre-season training begins.
