Arsenal are nearing an agreement for Aston Villa winger Morgan Rogers, while Mohamed Salah is weighing up options including a move to Major League Soccer, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano. The Gunners are reportedly close to agreeing personal terms with Rogers, though a club-to-club deal with Villa, currently valuing the player at €130 million, remains under negotiation.
Arsenal are also set to sign Ilan Meslier on a free transfer from Leeds United as a backup goalkeeper, though the future of current backup Kepa is uncertain. Romano suggests Kepa could return to Spain, with previous links to Inter Milan proving unfounded. Meslier is expected to compete with David Raya for the number two spot.
Further bolstering Arsenal’s attacking options, Leandro Trossard could be on his way to Beşiktaş for a fee of €18 million plus add-ons, pending the player’s approval. A Beşiktaş delegation is scheduled to meet with Trossard in the US to discuss the move. Meanwhile, Paris Saint-Germain’s Bradley Barcola, previously considered untouchable, is now available, with both Arsenal and Liverpool expressing interest.
Chelsea may allow Alejandro Garnacho to depart, but only in a permanent transfer, rejecting loan offers at this stage. Garnacho arrived at Chelsea just a year ago from Manchester United. Elsewhere, Joao Cancelo is expected to complete a permanent move to Barcelona from Al-Hilal, though negotiations regarding the transfer fee are ongoing.
Julian Alvarez of Atletico Madrid continues to desire a move to Barcelona, but a strained relationship between the two clubs complicates a potential deal. Enzo Fernandez will postpone discussions about his Chelsea future until after the 2026 World Cup, with a previous link to Real Madrid dismissed as unfounded. Manchester City are also not currently pursuing Fernandez.
Manchester City’s Rodri could leave the club next summer, as contract renewal talks have stalled. Finally, Mohamed Salah has received proposals from MLS clubs in addition to continued interest from Saudi Arabia, indicating a potential departure from Liverpool after a distinguished career with the club.
