Bayern Munich are poised to complete the signings of Ismael Saibari from PSV Eindhoven and Nathaniel Brown from Eintracht Frankfurt in a deal worth approximately £95.1 million, according to TEAMtalk. Both transfers are reportedly agreed in principle, despite late interest from Premier League clubs Arsenal and Manchester United.
The Bundesliga champions have moved swiftly to secure the two highly-rated young players, with sources indicating a high degree of confidence that both deals will be finalized before the weekend, pending only minor details. TEAMtalk initially reported Bayern’s interest in both Saibari and Brown over the weekend, outlining a potential investment of €110 million in the duo.
Both players are currently with their national teams participating in the World Cup finals and are expected to undergo medical examinations in North America in the coming days. Arsenal recently made contact with representatives for Nathaniel Brown, exploring defensive options, but were informed that the 22-year-old’s move to Bayern was already effectively complete. Prior to Arsenal’s enquiry, both Manchester United and Chelsea had also closely monitored Brown’s progress during his breakthrough season with Eintracht Frankfurt, drawn to his versatility at left-back, wing-back, and further up the pitch.
A similar situation unfolded with Ismael Saibari, the Moroccan international who has become a standout player in the Dutch Eredivisie. Manchester United also registered interest in the 24-year-old, seeking a versatile attacking player. However, Saibari’s representatives communicated that an agreement with Bayern Munich was already in place. Both players recently scored in their respective nations’ opening World Cup matches, further highlighting their value in the transfer market.
TEAMtalk reports that the major aspects of both deals have been agreed upon, with current discussions focused on final administrative details before contracts are signed. Bayern Munich anticipates completing the double transfer before the weekend, signaling a strong statement of intent from the German champions. This outcome represents a setback for Arsenal, Manchester United, and Chelsea, who all made late attempts to enter the negotiations. Bayern’s proactive approach and pre-existing agreements with both players ultimately proved decisive.
