Bayern Munich are poised to sign Ismael Saibari from PSV Eindhoven and Nathaniel Brown from Eintracht Frankfurt, with both transfers reportedly agreed in principle, according to TEAMtalk. The Bundesliga champions have moved quickly to secure the two young talents, despite late interest from Premier League clubs Arsenal and Manchester United.
Sources indicate that Bayern are confident of finalizing both deals before the weekend, with only minor details remaining to be resolved. The total investment for the duo is expected to reach approximately €110 million (£95.1m / $127.6m). Both players are currently participating in the World Cup finals with their respective nations and are expected to undergo medical examinations in North America in the coming days.
Arsenal recently contacted representatives for Nathaniel Brown, exploring defensive options, but were informed that his move to Bayern was already effectively completed. Prior to Arsenal’s enquiry, Bayern had already fended off interest from Manchester United and Chelsea, who had closely monitored Brown’s progress during his breakout season with Eintracht Frankfurt. The 22-year-old’s versatility, capable of playing at left-back, wing-back, and further forward, made him a desirable target for several English clubs.
Similarly, Manchester United recently made enquiries about Ismael Saibari, seeking a versatile attacking addition. However, Saibari’s representatives communicated that an agreement with Bayern was already in place. The 24-year-old Moroccan international has impressed in Dutch football with PSV, attracting attention from across Europe. Both Saibari and Brown found the net in their nations’ opening World Cup matches, further highlighting their appeal.
TEAMtalk understands that all major aspects of both deals have been agreed upon, with current discussions focused on final administrative details. Bayern anticipate completing the double transfer before the weekend, signaling a strong statement of intent from the German champions. This outcome represents a setback for Arsenal, Manchester United, and Chelsea, who made late attempts to enter the race for the players.
Bayern’s proactive approach and existing agreements with both players have left rival clubs with limited opportunities to intervene, paving the way for Saibari and Brown to become Bayern Munich players in the near future.
