Como are reportedly targeting two players from Real Madrid’s youth setup, Daniel Yáñez and Jesus Fortea, according to reports in Italy. Both players, born in 2007, currently feature for Real Madrid Castilla, the club’s reserve team, and are considered promising talents.
The potential deal is structured similarly to previous transfers involving Como and Real Madrid, such as those for Nico Paz and Jacobo Ramon. Como would acquire the players on a permanent basis for a fee in the millions, while Real Madrid would retain 50% of any future sale and a buyback option starting in 2028. This arrangement allows Como to develop young talent while providing Real Madrid with a pathway to potentially re-sign the players later.
Como are also exploring options to strengthen their defense, with Osasuna’s Cameroonian centre-back Enzo Boyomo emerging as a potential target. Initial contact has been made regarding a possible transfer. The club is simultaneously looking for a replacement for Nico Paz, with Lille’s Matías Fernández-Pardo of interest. The 2005-born midfielder has impressed in Ligue 1, scoring 8 goals and providing 5 assists this season, and has also attracted attention from Manchester City.
These moves underscore Como’s ambition to build on their recent success and potentially qualify for European competition. The club, owned by the Hartono brothers, is actively seeking young talent to bolster their squad. Manager Cesc Fabregas is central to these plans, having turned down offers from Premier League clubs, including Newcastle and Chelsea, to remain at Como. Fabregas intends to continue his managerial journey at the club, aiming to elevate their performance and potentially reach the Champions League. The former Arsenal and Barcelona midfielder has quickly established a strong connection with the club and the project.
