Liverpool have registered their interest in Hoffenheim winger Bazoumana Toure, according to TEAMtalk sources, with Manchester United also emerging as a potential suitor. The 20-year-old Ivorian international is expected to be a highly sought-after talent in the upcoming transfer window.
Toure joined Hoffenheim from Hammarby in February 2025 and has quickly established himself as a key player in the Bundesliga. In 30 league appearances this season, he has scored five goals and provided 12 assists, demonstrating his pace, crossing ability, and work rate. His performances have drawn attention from several clubs across Europe.
Hoffenheim are anticipating offers for Toure, particularly as they missed out on Champions League qualification. While the club are willing to consider a sale, they will reportedly demand a fee between €30-40 million (up to £34.6m / $46.4m), potentially exceeding their previous record sale of Joelinton to Newcastle. Toure is currently under contract until 2029, providing Hoffenheim with a strong negotiating position.
Liverpool view Toure as a potential long-term option to bolster their attacking options, having formally informed Hoffenheim of their interest. Manchester United are also in the mix, although he is not considered a priority target for them at this stage. Aston Villa, Newcastle United, and Brighton have also been credited with concrete interest, while Arsenal and Bayern Munich were previously linked but those links have cooled.
Toure’s athleticism and creativity make him well-suited to the demands of the Premier League, and his representatives are actively working to secure a move. A bidding war among multiple clubs could significantly increase his transfer value. For Hoffenheim, a sale would represent a substantial profit, while the acquiring club would gain a promising young talent with significant potential.
