Andrea Cambiaso has emerged as a potential transfer target for Manchester United, Liverpool, and Arsenal this summer, with Juventus reportedly open to selling the Italy international full-back. TEAMtalk exclusively revealed that Juventus have informed clubs of Cambiaso’s potential availability as they seek to reshape their squad and generate transfer funds.
While several Serie A clubs, including Inter Milan, Napoli, and Como, are interested in retaining Cambiaso within Italy, his profile has been presented to Premier League clubs, with Arsenal, Liverpool, and Manchester United all expressing appreciation for the 26-year-old. Cambiaso’s versatility is a key asset, being comfortable at both left and right-back, as well as a wing-back on either flank – a trait highly valued by top clubs seeking tactical flexibility.
One Premier League scout compared Cambiaso’s ability to perform on both flanks to that of former Juventus defender Gianluca Zambrotta, citing his intelligence, positional adaptability, and comfort on either foot. Arsenal are prioritizing reinforcement at right-back following the expected departure of Ben White, but also recognise the potential for academy graduate Myles Lewis-Skelly to move into midfield, making a versatile full-back an attractive option.
Liverpool, under Arne Slot, are also seeking to add tactical flexibility to their squad, with recent signings Jeremie Frimpong and Milos Kerkez struggling to adapt to Anfield expectations. The Reds value full-backs who can invert into midfield or switch flanks, a quality Cambiaso possesses. Manchester United, meanwhile, are looking for cover and competition for Luke Shaw, and also a reliable option on the right side of defence.
Juventus are reportedly willing to sanction a deal for around £30million, a figure considered reasonable given Cambiaso’s experience, versatility, and international status. This valuation is likely to further heighten interest from the Premier League clubs, all of whom are in the market for defensive reinforcements this summer. A move to any of these clubs would provide Cambiaso with a new challenge and the opportunity to showcase his abilities in a highly competitive league.
