Manchester City and Manchester United are among a host of Premier League clubs vying for the signature of Blackburn Rovers’ 15-year-old attacking midfielder Ty Livesey, according to TEAMtalk. The teenager enjoyed a remarkable season with Blackburn’s academy sides, registering over 100 goal contributions.
Livesey made his debut for Blackburn’s Under-18 team at just 14 years old, demonstrating the club’s faith in his potential. However, a number of top-flight clubs have already approached Blackburn regarding a potential transfer, hoping to secure the services of one of the country’s most promising young talents.
Liverpool are also considered leading contenders for Livesey, with all three clubs closely tracking his development and believing he possesses the qualities to become a top-level player. The interest from both Manchester clubs is particularly noteworthy given Livesey’s origins in Greater Manchester.
Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal, Brighton and Newcastle United have also expressed strong interest in the youngster. Chelsea and Tottenham, in particular, have recently invested heavily in youth recruitment, while Brighton have a reputation for identifying and developing emerging talent. Newcastle’s recruitment staff believe Livesey could become a standout attacking midfielder.
Blackburn Rovers are keen to retain Livesey and continue his development within their academy. The club recognize the challenge they face, however, with numerous elite academies now monitoring the teenager’s progress. While Livesey remains focused on his development at Blackburn, interest in his services is reportedly at an unprecedented level. His impressive goal contributions last season have understandably attracted attention from across English football.
