Manchester United are preparing a €100 million offer for Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen, according to reports from CaughtOffside. The Red Devils are anticipating the departure of Joshua Zirkzee and are seeking a replacement, with Osimhen identified as their preferred target despite considering other options including Jean-Philippe Mateta, Robert Lewandowski, Dusan Vlahovic and Eli Kroupi.
Osimhen, 25, has established himself as a prolific goalscorer in European football, most recently with Galatasaray. He has previously played for Napoli, where he won the Serie A title in the 2022-23 season, finishing as the league’s top scorer. His pace, strength, and clinical finishing make him an attractive prospect for United, who are looking to bolster their attacking options.
Real Madrid are also actively pursuing Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez, with a bid of €100 million plus bonuses reportedly in the works, as per El Debate. Fernandez is reportedly seeking an exit from Chelsea following their failure to qualify for European competition, and his agent, Javier Pastore, is already engaged in discussions with the Spanish club. However, Real Madrid are hesitant to meet Chelsea’s €138 million asking price and may explore including a player in the deal.
Fabrizio Romano anticipates a busy summer in the winger market, sparked by Anthony Gordon’s €80 million move to Barcelona. Several top clubs, including Bayern Munich, Liverpool, Paris Saint-Germain, Tottenham, Newcastle, and Manchester City, are expected to compete for marquee wide players. Romano also highlighted Liverpool’s interest in Yan Diomande, but they face competition from Paris Saint-Germain.
Inter Milan are reportedly very interested in Liverpool midfielder Curtis Jones, according to Gazzetta dello Sport. Inter boss Cristian Chivu is said to be “crazy” about the 25-year-old, who is facing uncertainty over his future at Anfield with contract talks stalled. Inter have already submitted a bid of around €20 million for Jones, but a gap in valuation remains. Chelsea’s future plans for Nicolas Jackson are also uncertain, with a final decision pending the arrival of new manager Xabi Alonso.
Several other transfer links were reported, including Barcelona’s pursuit of Bernardo Silva from Manchester City, Newcastle’s interest in Ez Abde from Real Betis, and Manchester United’s admiration for Waldemar Anton at Borussia Dortmund. Napoli’s incoming manager, Massimiliano Allegri, is also reportedly keen on reuniting with AC Milan midfielder Adrien Rabiot.
