Real Madrid are considering the sale of Eduardo Camavinga, while the future of Aurelien Tchouameni remains uncertain, according to reports from Spanish media. Club president Florentino Perez is reportedly keen to retain Tchouameni, but the possibility of a sale has not been ruled out.
This potential shift in stance comes as Real Madrid continue to reshape their squad following a summer that has already seen Denzel Dumfries, Ibrahima Konate, Bernardo Silva, and Marc Cucurella arrive at the Bernabeu. Dani Ceballos, Dani Carvajal, and David Alaba have departed on free transfers. Silva’s arrival is intended to bolster the midfield’s creativity, and the club are also linked with a move for Enzo Fernandez, though a sale would be required to fund such a significant investment.
Camavinga has reportedly approved a potential transfer away from Madrid, with Liverpool and Manchester United both expressing interest. The 23-year-old is valued at approximately €50 million (£43 million), a fee that could represent a bargain given his potential. He has struggled to consistently secure a starting position in the Madrid midfield.
Tchouameni, meanwhile, has emerged as a key target for Manchester United, who view him as a potential replacement for Casemiro. United are reportedly prepared to offer over £85.5 million to secure his signature. The France international is said to be open to joining United if Real Madrid indicate they are willing to sell. Reports suggest that Tchouameni and Federico Valverde had a disagreement during training last season, further complicating his position within the squad.
Journalist Dean Jones claims that Real Madrid are “opening up” to the idea of selling Tchouameni for a fee of around €100 million (£85.5 million). However, this contradicts information from Radio Marca reporter Ramon Alvarez de Mon, who states that Perez wants to keep the player. Should Camavinga depart, it would likely be contingent on him changing his current desire to fight for his place at Real Madrid.
