FC Metz forward Pape Moussa Fall is attracting attention from several clubs ahead of the summer transfer window, which opens on June 1st in France. The 21-year-old Senegalese international, currently under contract with Metz until 2029, has impressed while on loan at La Louvière, scoring 12 goals in 29 appearances and helping them maintain their place in the Belgian top flight.
According to L’Équipe, Metz value Fall at approximately €6 million. The club is currently weighing whether to sell the player or integrate him into their attack as they prepare for a Ligue 2 campaign. Fall initially joined Metz in the summer of 2024 from RFC Seraing, but was subsequently loaned to La Louvière, a club with close ties to Metz.
Fall's career has been marked by loan spells in Belgium, demonstrating his potential in the Belgian leagues. Before his time with La Louvière, he had a productive spell in the Belgian second division, scoring 17 goals in 38 matches. A significant setback occurred in January 2025 when he suffered a ruptured cruciate ligament during training, but he recovered to score eight goals in just over a month between December 2025 and January 2026.
Interest in Fall extends beyond France, with clubs in England – West Ham and Crystal Palace – and Germany – Stuttgart and Mainz – reportedly monitoring his situation. Turkish side Samsunspor and Belgian clubs Club Bruges and Anderlecht have also expressed interest. Within France, Lorient and Lille have recently inquired about his availability. A source at La Louvière described Fall as a “charming boy” and praised his attitude and contribution on the pitch, but acknowledged the club’s limited budget means retaining him this summer is unlikely, regardless of whether he returns to Metz.
