Arkadiusz Milik is contemplating his future at Juventus amid a prolonged period of injury setbacks, with the club reportedly working towards his departure. The Poland international joined the Turin side in August 2022, but his time has been largely disrupted by spells in the JMedical infirmary.
A meniscus injury sustained in June 2024 kept Milik sidelined for the majority of the following seasons, with a brief return to the field in March 2026 lasting only two appearances before a fresh muscle injury once again ruled him out. During this period, Juventus have experienced instability, cycling through managers and facing consistent disappointment.
Milik, 30, has scored 17 goals in 77 appearances for Juventus, and was part of the squad that won the Coppa Italia in 2024. Speaking to Polish radio station Rmf, the striker reflected on the last two years, stating he has “practically not played” and acknowledged the unwavering support of his partner, Agata. He described her as his “sun during dark days” and credited her with providing strength when he felt he had none left.
Milik also touched upon the emotional toll of his injuries, admitting he experienced “very deep and difficult to manage” emotional lows. He described the feeling of being a spectator as his team continued without him, losing the “adrenaline, excitement, dopamine” that he derives from the game. Despite the challenges, Milik remains determined to return to the pitch and recapture his previous form, believing he still has something to offer.
The forward acknowledged a recurring cycle of hope, training, injury, and despair, but maintains an inner voice urging him to persevere. While his future at Juventus appears uncertain, Milik remains committed to his passion for football and intends to fight for a return to the sport at a high level.
