Paris Saint-Germain have expressed interest in Juventus midfielder Khephren Thuram, according to reports in Italy. Discussions between the two clubs have reportedly strengthened the possibility of a concrete transfer offer during the current window.
Thuram, who joined Juventus in the summer of 2024 for €20 million, has seen his value increase significantly in recent seasons. Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri may be willing to allow Thuram to leave as the club seeks to improve its financial position and generate a significant profit on the player. The club needs to add approximately €13 million to balance its books by June 30th.
Alongside the interest in Thuram, Juventus are also pursuing a deal to bring Randal Kolo Muani back to the club. Kolo Muani currently plays for PSG, and is reportedly keen on a return to Turin. While the two deals are currently separate, they could become linked as both clubs assess their financial needs. Kolo Muani’s current valuation is approximately €36 million, and a loan with a mandatory buyout clause – a structure that previously stalled a deal with Tottenham – may be required to facilitate a transfer.
The potential transfer fee for Thuram is expected to be around double his initial purchase price, offering Juventus a substantial capital gain. A deal could be structured with a significant fixed fee alongside performance-based bonuses. Should Thuram move to Paris, he could add physicality to Luis Enrique’s midfield and potentially succeed Fabian Ruiz, whose contract expires in 2027 and has yet to be renewed. The player himself is motivated by the opportunity to compete for trophies and join his brother, Marcus Thuram, in the French national team.
